They look great, but I’d worry about birch ply getting wet and exposed to the soil, insects, and elements.

I hung them with large french cleats anchored to the brick. Seemed to work pretty well.
As far as the birch plywood being exposed, I agree. I built these a few years ago and just found the photos. We have since moved to a new house so I am not sure how they’re holding up. If I had it to do over again, I would line the interior with a vinyl liner. Hopefully the drainage holes help them not to hold water at least.
