I made this kaleidoscope using maple for the body, canary wood for the eyepiece and zebra wood for the end bit. The middle bit is three bits of mirror acrylic cut to an inch wide, I sanded the edges to get an angle on them, then taped them up and pushed them down inside the body. On the end I used a couple of bits of acrylic with clear plastic beads for the colours. The end bit is held on using some bullet catches, this one I made a bit long, the light kind of runs out before it ends up at the eyepiece, making another shorter one currently.
