First time made this case with a mahogany stain, always hesitated because of the color contrast showing between the walnut and red oak, however when done it still shows the contrast and I kind of like it.

I also like the contrast. A different style retirement case. 100% nautical. Nice workmanship.

Very nice shadow box! Now you just need a bell-chiming clock, in a ship’s wheel style to go along with it!

Thanks for the feedback, It was the first one I stained…..I was quite happy with the finish, turned out 10 times better than I thought.
