Secure Blanket Box

I made this box for my daughter. She wanted something to keep her “stuff” in that was somewhat secure while she’s away at school. It’s basically an under bed blanket box. I found some great clean fir and put some oak rub rails on it. A cable lock goes through the back and can be anchored to the bed frame. The cabinet lock is fairly stout but a healthy screwdriver is going pop it open. I thought a hasp would look just too tacky.
