Well, here she is. It’s finally done. Now all I have to do is put some sort of hook on it so I can hang it from the tree. The finish is a mix of tung oil, blo, and poly. The hinges are miniature knife hinges I made out of Jatoba. They are 1/8” thick closed, 1/2” long closed, by 3/16” wide. They have a dowl in the ends just like a true knife hinge. As you can see it is mortised into the door and the cabinet as it should be. Because I don’t have a miniature chisel I had to use an exacto knife and chip away. I have to say, they work as good as Brusso hinges, really. Sorry for the bad pics. Because of it’s size its hard to get a good shot without it getting blurry.
See original project post for description and size.

:) Now you just need a Maloof rocker to go with it.

Great job Keith. I like the different design.
