thanks John – I’m not an experienced turner, but this wood is the hardest I’ve turned so far. I got the blank from Woodcraft.

Beautiful piece of wood there Ronstar … and you found the hidden bowel inside.
I appreciate your work as I too am just learning to turn.
That wood has some attractive grain patterns to it.

Thanks Mike, Yes turning is like a whole new hobby. I can’t wait to get started on my next piece. And it’s great because it doesn’t take up a lot of space nor does the finished product take up a lot of space.
