I’m not a Ohio State fan but thought I would see who in my neighborhood was confident enough to buy this one from me. No refunds…ha. This is a Gasby pen from PSI with curly maple for the body. I’ll work on a Oregon Duck version tomorrow.

Looks very nice. One pen for each should guarantee a sale. (-: How are you creating the logo part?

yea inquiring minds would love to see your process for doing the logos…. I am assuming decal material with ca glue over top…. that’s my guess but I have never tried doing that

As someone who went to two PAC12 schools I gotta say you will have better luck with an Oregon pen. Joking aside, nice looking pen!

It kills me that I like this right now. Still reeling from a certain shutout embarrassment and the subsequent departure of an overmatched coach. But … Go Big Ten.

MY worry is that I will could be banned from the great state of Alabama…ha.

I finish the blank with CA just like I would any other blank. Using water rub decal paper. Just print out what I want and spray with a clear coat to keep the ink from running. Cut out and apply to the pen blank. It must be completely dry before you start the CA process. Some people let sit over night. Then just finish again with the CA. I normally go with 3 coats of thin and 3 coats of medium. Easy day.

I will admit I have messed up a few learning the process but after you get the hang of doing a few it’s fairly easy.

For the Oregon pen you will need to dye the wood a garish bright green and contrast it with enough other greens and yellows to give yourself a headache if you want to be authentic.

I wouldn’t bother making an Oregon pen. Never going to happen. :)

The Ohio State pen will just gather dust…. even if they won, nobody from ohio State knows how to write anyhow.

The Duck Pen will sell though!

All,
Good stuff. I thought this would get some good comments. I was showing one of the guys I work with and he told he….well if you are really good you could have included the score…ha.
