Saw a few versions of an iPhone speaker, got an older version from the grandson, without service, so I use it for a Jukebox in the garage. Front is Cherry, back is Ash, finich BLO, Oil base Poly and Spirits.
The volume is actually quite a bit louder.

Did not use a plan, searched a few on woodworking sites, then just went my own way. Its 10 ” w x 6” h used 2 pieces of approx 3/4 rough milled Cherry and Ash. clamped them together, used a 2 1/4 holesaw thru the cherry and just into the ash. Used various size Forstner bits to deepen the speaker holes.
Routed a 1/2 inch channel between the speaker holes, then routed the slot for the iphone to fit. At the bottom of the iphone slot, marked where the speakers are positioned, on bottom of phone, then routed 2 openings from there Into the channel that connects the speakers.
Glued the 2 pieces together, and burned the symbol into it. Hope this helps.
