My son and I made an elevated “tree house” four years ago. It was made with the intention of closing in the bottom one day. Over Christmas break this year we did just that.
3/4 inch tongue and groove OSB. We used old tin to form a rainproof roof under the deck which is still accessible via the ladder in the back. Left the bottom slightly elevated to avoid ground water. Capped the edges with 2×4 which will hopefully help it hold up. Still needs some paint/sealant. Lawnmower is out of the garage so…mission accomplished.
