The table and the sleigh table were made for some people who just built a second home in the mountains. They supplied me with a bunch of dimensional lumber left over from the construction of there home and ask me to make the tables from that.

The legs for the dining room table are made from 4×4 lumber and the table top from 2×6 that were edge glued to form the top, the two sides and end rails are 2×6 joined with mortis tenon joints

Very nicely done. After the 2×4 challenge, I’ve come to realize that there’s some nice furniture hiding in dimensional lumber. This is a perfect example.
