Here is the 4 th bowl that I turned for Christmas this year. I used the economy bowl out of a board method. Woods are cherry, purple heart, canary and bloodwood

No I don’t have any pictures during the build. It really doesn’t look like much, kinda like the Devo whip it hats. I cut out half rings on the bandsaw with the table at 45 degrees, not really sure what the ringmaster is.

The purpleheart and canary gives it a tiger stripe feel which was by accident.

Cut on the band saw ? You now have my TOTAL admiration ! That is an excellent example of workmanship. Please don’t tell me it was a one time exercise ? man gheeeze I feel pretty amateurish now.

Its my 4th bowl and first one that came out good. I copied this kid on you tube, I use the same method. He looks like he should be working at McDonald’s. The link is in this post

Realy unique and interesting pattern. When I see something like this , I’m trying to figure how it looked before turning , in squared shape.
