Here is a Krenov cabinet I made yesterday. The legs are jatoba and the cab is maple. There is no finish or hinges yet. The finish will be a mix of tung oil, blo, and wipe on poly. The dovetails were cut with the bandsaw and utility knife. The legs were shaped on the oscillating spindle sander.
The best part about this project is that since it is an ornament once we take it off the christmas tree Tinkerbell can have it at her house :-)

I thought it was full size. I thought, there’s some dovetails I could make. LOL, NICE!

Until I saw the last picture I was thinking, Man that’s a lot of work shaping the legs on a spindle sander!

Thanks for the comments. The spacing above the door seems big because the door is just sitting there. I have to come up with a hinge. The box is only 2” tall x 1 3/8” wide or so, so making a hinge may be a challenge. I was thinking about making a miniature knife hinge, so that it stays krenovian. Otherwise I think anything else will stick off the side to much. I’ll make it happen and post once the door is hung and the finish is on. btw, the drawer does pull out. It is 3/16” tall x 5/16” wide. I almost lost it in the sawdust at one point. Anyhow, the tree is up and we are anxious to hang this ornament.
