I hereby submit my name for the title of Last Man in America to make a Nice Cabinet for the Storage of Phonograph Records. And some drawers for CD’s. The case is 3/4 walnut/mdf plywood, with some real walnut face molding. The top is solid walnut, with appropriate uniqueness, Ie. knots. I love knots. Brown soft maple for the drawers. I shoulda taken a pic with a drawer open so you could see the dovetails. Drawer pulls from Menards. I like the way they pick up the brown steaks in the drawer fronts.

With vinyl lp sales at the highest level in decades (9.2 million units in 2014, from a low of 300,000 in 1993) and climbing, you might have a market to make a few more. This one looks great. Of course I really like walnut.
