I already posted the 5 foot tall chest of drawers to match this one. This finish came out a lot nicer, but i believe its because i didnt change stains throughout the project. The first one we had a ton of trouble with the Veratheane oil base stain and had to start over with a water base stain. Next step, a large mirror to hang over this and then two night stands.

This is my favorite piece. I favor modern designs, but this piece also shows how much your skills have advanced.
I like the style, the stain color, and the hardware.
It is neat to see the progress in your projects.
Nice recovery on the stain/finish issues. This type of experience can be frustrating at the time but will also advance your understanding quite a bit.
You did a great job.

I love the style. I also like when an open grain wood is used and a very dark stain is used. It highlights the texture of the grain. Thanks for posting.
