Here is the spinning wheel I mentioned under the Coffee Lounge headed Aging. Not great pictures but an interesting project. Interesting to me anyhow because it was the first wooden spoked wheel that I had made. As I mentioned in the other post I machined the rim of the wheel using a router mounted on my RAS.
The picture of the hub….if you look close is a split hub which allows you to set in the spokes on one half of the hub, then glue on the second half of the hub and clamp the assy with a bolt through the axle hole. Everything else went together faily easily after thinking through then building the wheel.

Heck yes….the wife is most happy with it & expects to spin a fair amount of wool yarn over the winter.
