Another Boring Spalted Bowl

Project by Kerux posted 361 days ago 244 views 0 times favorited 8 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Yep, here is another one. Sorry about the redundancy of the bowls. I could tell that this one did not have as much ‘movement’ and ‘color’ as the other ones, so I decided to try to give it a little something to give it more vitality. What do you all think? Thanks.

Kerux, it’s another beautiful turning. I like the outside design.

Thanks for posting it.

The ribs do add visual interest. The woodworking is excellent.

I like it very much. These undulations on the sides give it a big push to uniqueness.

Kerux,
Another beautiful turning. I’m kinda partial to spalted woods and have been getting alot of blanks off E-Bay. Do you have another source?

There is nothing blah about spalted maple or spalted any wood and another thing, it’s very hard to make replicated bowls, you can, but it’s difficult. That bowl is beautiful. It has a lot of interest in the design, the finish shines pretty bright. I’d say that’s a winner.
