I made this ribbon box for my daughter for Christmas 2014. The box is made from cherry, and maple and is finished with wipe on poly from Minwax, rubbed out with steel wool and waxed. I had made another one in the past and did not like the way the ribbon wrapped around the box stuck up so I inlaid it into the box. I saw another box somewhere with a lift up tray and included it. Daughter really liked it. I made two others also but never got pictures of them before I gave them away. One thing I did that if I ever make another one is I will finish it before gluing the bow on so that it is easier to rub out.

This is very nice. I really like the way you did the ribbon on the top.
