I recently finished this clock which was commissioned by a Timber Frame Company in Tennessee. It’s constructed with Sapale hardwood and Holly details. This clock will sit on the company boardroom table for clients to see and future clients will be given an option to include a clock such as this in their timber frame home designs. Lots of design alterations can be made to this basic design while keeping the timber frame flavor!

OOOHH! so much crafted wood. You are the MAN! Fantastic! You can even play with it! Lots of nice dusting places so you have an excuse to touch it.

Great looking clock. I hope that you get lots of commisions from it being in the boardroom.

That’s a real thing of beauty, Max! I can’t imagine making all those parts.
Now are you going to set it on your nightstand, or strap it to your wrist?

Charles that looks like so much fun to build. You’ve done a great job with it. Perhaps you’ll get requests for more through the timber frame co.
I’m curious about the process you went through…of joining the teeth into the gear at the top (2nd picture).

Very nice.
I wouldn’t mind having one of them in my house, or building on rather, always liked wooden clocks and the looks of them.

You must be very proud of your accomplishment! The intricate detail to the workings to make the clock ‘tick’ can’t be fully appreciated unless you’ve made one. A very fine example of workmanship and wood selection Charles. I made a marble machine that taught me a ‘few’ lessons about making small pieces work!

Man I love these! These clocks of yours are works of art….they just blow me away. I cant get over the carving of the gears..that just sounds so tedious and would take forever!
