Here is my “L” shaped white oak desk with decorative corbels. The drawer features dovetail construction and cedar drawer bottom. The desk frame is primarily mortise and tenon construction.

A corner desk is kind of a project that lots of us need but nobody wants to build. You really nailed this. I love it. So, are you using pocket screws an M&T on all of the joints?

Rodney,
I don’t use M&T and pocket holes on the same joints. The frame is assembled with standard mortise and tenons. The rails that sit below the drawer is M&T on the leg side, and pocketed on the inboard side. The top drawer rails are pocket screwed because I find them just as good as an open mortise in that situation.
Thanks for looking.

Simple design yet very elegant. Something like this would be perfect for my house. Excellent craftsmanship as always. Thanks for sharing

Another great piece. I love the top and wish I had done mine like yours instead of having a 45 joint running across it to the corner. Is your top ply or glued up panel?

Looks like someone is setting up a home office. Another fine example of your craftsmanship. I recently had the opportunity to look at a Stickley Audi piece and they used pocket screws to secure shelves in place.

Gfadvm,
The top is a solid wood glueup. I assembled the top in phases because it is so large.

Well this desk certainly makes a fine complement to your file cabinet! I like the panel design for the desktop as opposed to a 45 degree miter.
