Several picture frames I made. The one that says ‘Harris’ is spalted hickory with Wenge bowties securing the corner miter cuts. It turned out to be one of my favorite pieces that I have ever made. The hickory reeks of character up close.
The buffalo’s were a painting from my son that he did in 4th grade. That one is made from Walnut with 2 vertical miter keys that are Cherry.
The flowers were also painted by my son he did in 3rd grade. It is maple with a purpleheart stripe (that looks like an inlay) around the perimeter. The glass wasn’t in it. With the glass, the painting smoothed out and looks good.
Thanks, Tommy H.
