The best building blocks

This is about as simple as it gets, but these blocks are awesome. A number of years ago, my dad made close to 200 of these. We really enjoyed playing with them as children and teenagers. When I was home for Christmas, I got them out again and made a tower up to the ceiling. When I got home, I made a batch of 56 right away.

They are maple, 3/4×2.5×3 inches. All you have to do is take a 1×3 and chop it into 3 inch lengths, and break the corners and edges. As long as you take some care in making them square, they will stack remarkably high.

Looks interesting but if it doesn’t come with a USB port my kids may not use it…...............

Roundover the long edges before you crosscut! Should save a lot of time…
