I made this business card case for a Christmas gift this year. It’s based on this design but doesn’t have mitered corners. Also, instead of using electrical wire for the hinge, I used 1/8 inch brass rod.

Sanding solves a multitude of errors. However, I was impatient in my progression of grits, so there are some scratch marks where I didn’t sand thoroughly.

Cool design! I made a stationary one of these for my desk, but I like the portability of your project better.

Very well done. I don’t even notice any scratch marks.

I once had a lumberjock doctor friend that sent me one of these. They’re cool.
