My father inlaw said, “You can’t do anything with boxeldar but burn it. It’s worthless!” So I had to enlighten him with this boxeldar topped oak table.

Beautiful slab of box elder. I enjoy the color variations and voids this species offers. Thanks for sharing.

loved you’re bowls,my wife liked them even more than I did. I do quite a bit of turning myself. What Lathe do you use?

This is the largest BoxElder project that I’ve ever seen …She’s a beauty ! I’ve seen plenty of bowls and other small items , but nothing compares to your table top : )
