Here the end result of the coffee table post earlier this month. This design is out of FWW magazine and editor Mario Rodriguez. I wipe on 5 coats of Watco danish oil and after a week of drying time I spray 3 fine coats of Watco lacquer stain finish. This should hold up to some coffee spill and other adult drinks. Thanks for viewing…Blkcherry

I like it. Nice job. My only concern would be the way you angled the grain in the legs. Instead of having the grain perpendicular to the floor, having it on a diagonal would be stronger.
Nicely done!

Great looking table. I love the grain of the tabletop. Thanks for sharing.

Looks great. I was just reading about a layout feature in Sketch Up that Mario used to develop the legs cross sections. Is this how you defined the tapers also?

Dick, I obtain all my information from FWW magazine a article by Mario himself. I would think it would be the same if Mario produce the Sketch Up plan. I did not see this Sketch up review…Blkcherry
