Over the summer a very proud (and rightfully so) Mom commissioned me to build a shadowbox display for all of the awards and memorabilia her son earned from the time he started in Cub Scouts all the way up to his latest success in earning the designation as an Eagle Scout. This display represents many years of hard work. It was a fun project. My wife and I were invited and attended the Eagle Scout award ceremony where the shadowbox was presented. Very cool experience.

Looks great, though I’m surprised no council patch in the box. I cringe to think of my cub scout uniform being pillaged for the patches on it to make something like this but I’ve kept my many uniforms (cub scout blue, boy scout khaki, Exploring/Venturing green, and Sea Scout white) preserved fully intact.

Nice collection for any proud Cub Scout.
I never did much with the Cubs, but have lots of happy memories as a scout with lots of merit badges.

Nicely done! That looks like all Cub Scout patches and memorabilia. Maybe the Boy Scout stuff is in a separate box, or they didn’t want to take his uniform apart before his ceremony. Congrats to him for his Eagle! One of the most useful and powerful designations of my life. And job well done to you!
