These seem to have been a popular gift this year. Mine is dovetailed (bandsaw and chisels)’ and the handle is pegged with 1/4” walnut dowels.

Finish is Minwax wipe on poly.

It turned out ok, and was fun to build.

My dad liked it.

Paul, the case is white oak, or maybe some kind of ash. The handle is some kind of straight, tight-grained tropical hardwood.
