So a Buddie of mine got this at a yard sale over 10 years ago and stripped the finish off so he could redo it and use it. Welllllllll it sat in his garage until a month ago and he said he was done moving it around did I want it.

My sons room had a little table with all his game stuff on it (actually most of it on the floor under it) ugh teenagers LOL. Anyway so I said I would take it and fix it up for him.

Didn’t do a whole lot of work on it, I put a back on it 1/8” hardboard cut holes so the cords could go thru, I did some sanding and repainted the inside, more sanding and clear coated the outside with my normal modern day french polish technique. I cleaned up the hardware and painted it with a hammered spray on paint, and walla there it is. My goofy son is posing in one of the pics for you hmm I wonder where he gets it…. LOL

The grain on this is amazing I just love mahagany. Anyway if you have any comments I would love to hear them and again I want to thank all of you that have helped out my brother in law in their time of need I’m so lucky to have friends like all of you…..

The cabinet is very well done!

The teenager is a work in progress—- hope it turns out as well as the cabinet!

Beautiful piece of heirloom furniture! Hope the son realizes its value and cares for it properly??? Certainly a wonderful refurb.

Nice piece! It turned out really sharp Doug. Great score taking that off your friend’s hands.

Me too Bud-3, the older stuff has character to it with all the bumps and old hardware

Thanks for the comment
