Here is a toy box I built a year or two ago from plans in WOOD magazine. I built it for the grandson of my wife’s friend. It was a big hit. Plans called for mostly plywood. Some hardwood was used for the pull out cubby drawers. Left it natural and sealed it with a few coats of poly. Hopefully he will get many years of enjoyment out of it.

I need to make one (or two) of these for my kids and all their new Christmas toys.

excellent job. I built that same toybox just this summer for my granddaughter. She thinks it is a toy and empties it out and plays in it. I see you changed the drawer configuration around also.

Bruce you are correct on the drawers. Actually I added almost a foot to the length. Thus the drawer change. Thanks guys for the positive feedback. This is the first project I’ve posted. Although I’ve been lurking around on this site for years.
