Wow, someone’s been busy. That is some fantastic work. However, I’m very new to turning, so I’m curious how you turned the square ones in the upper right hand corner? ;-)

Great job and good works all in one. I’m mighty partial to the box-elder bowl (?), the little brown hollow form and that fine spalted bowl off on the right. Hope everyone gets shod for Christmas.

how in the heck do you make that one hollow vessel with the neck sooo skinny ‘n the base so wide? Do you use a really long curved/bent tool?

if you can’t give us a “how to” on the square ones… how about some info / step by step / how to, on the Ornamental Turning one?

The square objects are pencil holders, here’s the Wood Whisperer link on how to build them
http://thewoodwhisperer.com/episode-31-pencil-holders/
The skinny neck vessels are not completely hollow, drilled then the top rounded out with a bowl gouge.

Doc, Nice display!
What finish are you using? Looks like a high-quality shine. :)

Awesome work, Dock. It sounds like a worthy cause as well. Thanks for sharing.
