I found a cool chunk of wood at the local Rockler. In fact the clerk said it was lucky for me that he didn’t see it first. I made this fairly simple shape and finished it with Crystal Coat and wax.

It was labeled “Black/white ebony”

That is a really interesting piece of wood and the turning highlights it nicely.
