Hi everyone! For 2014 Christmas I decide to make a small and simple Nativity Scene for our home using reclaimed oak from an old farm house (the timber is about 200 years old). This slice of beam gives a rustic old look to the final piece.

The scrollsaw pattern it’s also made by me so be free to download and use it.

Regards and Merry Christmas to all LJ’s!

I just watched the video and love it….thanks for the high speed as it made it a quick watch without missing anything.

This is absolutely my favorite project of the day.

Thanks everyone to visit and comment this project. I’m glad you find useful to download the pattern.

I just want to see your finished Nativity Scene if you ever made one using it. I’ll try to share my designs in future projects.

Thanks Redoak49. I’m trying to present things straight and quick without missing any step of the process.

I really like the way you carved this out of the old beam and left the outside untouched
