Memories in a Box

When I was young, I grew up helping my Dad with odd jobs. At times I got into a lot trouble messing with his tools without permission. Since I acquired several of my Dad’s and Granddad’s tools after my Dad passed, I’ve needed a place to keep them. I had started this box before my Dad became ill; but, until now I wasn’t able to finish it.
The box is made from yellow pine. The trays are feature a green velvet padded liner.

Looks like a great place to keep some old memories.

I’m sure your Dad & Granddad would smile and be proud that you thought enough of the tools to build a special box. Nice work!

Nice little project. I bet that every time you open that box to get a tool out, you will think of your Dad and Grandfather.

I especially like the design of the top of the case! I have a number of my dad’s old tools. Just repainted his old craftsman tool box. I’ve a similar dad’s tool ’s history. LOL!
