This cabinet was made for the customers antique gun collection. The whole framework was made out of Cape holly and the top out of 2 laminated pieces of Ironwood. The stool i made out of ironwood and upholstered it with a Springbuck skin. The curved glass is actualy perspex that we bend in the oven.

in one word, amazing! same as all your other projects on this house are….I would love to hear more on your process of bending the acrylic and source for it, how do you get it the exact shape in the oven? I’m guessing with a form, or do you heat it up take it out then put it on a wood frame with some tinfoil ‘n clamp maybe? Either way I’m sure it involves precise temperature/heating times, which would vary for different thicknesses of course. Please give me some insight, thanks in advance…

Super! Great display cabinet, really! And the desk, well, just great. Beautiful. You must be feeling pretty good by now. Looks like a lot of your project is really coming together nicely. Your dream is becoming real.
