I was at the Wisconsin Cranberry Festival, and seen a pottery version of this,, This is my first prototype of hanging glasses off of a bottle. Wood was some reclaimed Mahogany from a door frame. As soon as I get the shape I want,, then I will look at Scrollwork, and maybe custom laser engraving…

Bottle Stopper is made from Tulip Wood… This was a lathe project to practice sheer cuts with a spindle gouge, and using a skew after watching Alan Lacer’s video on Skew. It also took me a good hour or 2 to grind my skew to be usefull. Regrind of skew improved handling and usage.
