First of two toy boxes I needed to build. This one is for a coworkers boys. The plan is from the wood whisper, but I didn’t come across it until it was too late for the charity. The box is made from BB ply and white pine and the front in BB ply and hard board laminated. Decided on chalk board paint for the front. (White board markers seem dangerous!!! If you know what I mean) letters were done out of 1/4” MDF on the scroll saw. Torsion hinges from Rockler to keep the little fingers safe.

Had a good bit of fun building this and got a little help from my 2 year old son! ( Always need a product tester!)

Now I have to start the second one for my son.

Surely to be put to good use.
I’m sure the recipient is very happy.

-- Randy-- I may not be good...but I am slow! If good things come to those who wait.... Why is procrastination a bad thing?

Have your say...
