Merry Christmas everyone!
I finished carving 50+ ornaments just in time! I’ve been chipping away at them for quite a while but never got them all completely finished until late last week.
The star variations are derived from the same pattern, just adding lines to alter the chips removed.
I’ve carved a new ornament since the mid 1980’s so friends and family have quite a collection to decorate their tree!

Nicely done!!!

Marty, these look great! Your experience definitely shows in the craftsmanship. I was able to make four that turned out decent, and a number that had a lot of chip out. I’ll keep practicing but always enjoy looking at your work.

Thanks for sharing.

Marty those are great. I can believe all the hours you put into carving those.

Wonderful Marty. I like the multiple variations of the star. Happy Yule to you and yours.

Thanks everyone! Lots of fun to create something everyone looks forward to every year!
I’ve gotten behind with my postings during this past year. I’ll try to catch up and keep up in 2015!

Very nice Marty, I quit making Christmas gifts except for a select few years ago. It was just taking too much time to make so many things. I hope you had a great Christmas and wish you a happy new year.
