Hello!

a simple box made with apple, basswood and spalted maple, that was put on sale by our small charity banquet last Sunday to raise funds for AVSI organization.

Merry Christmas to all

Sorry, I commented on your second box first. As with the other, I’m impressed with the spalted top. This one looks like islands and seascape to me. ...... and you have it the right way up because the shot from the back just doesn’t have the same feel. Very nice clean boxes.

Hi Paul

the top pieces of both boxes came from the same slab, and some parts look like details of old maritime chart to my eye.

Also good lookin. Is the top of box a 45 degree angle or 22.5.? Also did you cut the angles on a table saw on angle or router table. ? Just curious. Thanks.

Diwayne,

all the mitered corners are cut at 45° on a small table saw (made by Proxxon).

Greetings
