End Grain Cutting Boards

Just finished, this morning, my Christmas presents to my family members. 6 end grain cutting boards using maple, purpleheart, walnut, and cherry.

This was my first attempt at making these. I watched a lot of videos (I mean a lot of videos) and finally pulled the trigger to do it. Rather than make one and learn, I made all six at once. Many errors with using a planer and even smashed a board through it. But, I’m happy with it.

For anyone looking to make one, I heavily suggest watching The Wood Whisperer’s video. I learned quite a bit. Also, I watched every video from MTM Wood (based out of Russia I believe). Both of these resources were invaluable through the learning process.

Merry Christmas to everyone. Hope you all have a safe and relaxing holiday!!!

Wow, you have been busy. Very nice. I love the brick wall version.
