Acorn Ornaments

Acorn ornaments. Rough-carved maple stems, walnut, cherry/osage orange (?). Glued, turned, walnut woodburned, put back on lathe and finished.

I made 28 of these for coworkers and family. I changed the finish occasionally, but for the most part applied danish oil to the whole acorn and semi-gloss poly to the base. Probably took just under an hour total for each from gluing to turning to finished.

Thanks for looking.
