I made this small box out of dressed pine. I cut the pieces to length. Glued and nailed to secure. Two small brass hinges at the back. No varnish yet. Was really a improvised piece, off the top of my head. Nice little treasure box.

I remember the first time I ever made a box I was surprised at how hard it was to make something that seems so simple. This is a project you can learn from and build on.
