Bottle boxes to hold the gifts I bought my two brothers for the holidays. Quarter inch poplar with no finish. Loosely based off of the Japanese style tool box.

For those of you interested, the distillery that makes the gin is located in Northern Minnesota. Check out their site here.

Very nice! Hope the gin comes close to being as fine as the carrier you’ve made. Well done!

Looks great, very clean. I made a similar box for a gift to my parents, people tend to get a kick out of the sliding top.

I like this style box, and yours looks great. I also like that you chose the Japanese approach leaving the wood raw. (and the courage not to wipe some poly on it) Seems very appropriate, and a good choice. Nicely done.
