Wine Cork Trivet

Really Cool!

We received one of these as a gift, from my brother. I think you two must have been to the same party ;^)

That’s what I call “going the extra mile” to procure materials for a project. I’m sure your folks appreciated the sacrifice you made. :-)

I’ve accumulated a small grocerybags worth of corks to make a bulletin board, and or a trivet like this. Regrettably I didn’t generate all of the corks ;)

Really a good idea! wine corks are simply glued to a flat wood base?

Wow, great idea! I’ve been trying to figure out what to give my Mother-in-law for christmas. The thought of her coming to our house from Dec 20 – Jan 2 is enough for me to go pound down 50 bottles of wine. I think I’ll start tonight!

To answer a member’s question, the corks are adhered down with clear siliconized caulk.

that takes talent…50 bottle of wine by yourself…we dont even do that in napa…cool project
