Does the light go out after a while if you sit still? I’ve been in a situation where somebody had to keep moving all the time so we wouldn’t suddenly be in the dark.

The motion detector stays one for 5 minutes and that the shortest time it stay one I wish it was less. BUT if you push the top part ion of the switch you can turn it on manually or turn in off! This was one of my first steampunk pieces cause I needed a light in the front part of my house that would turn on as I walked in. Also it is grounded and I used a power tool extenuation cord to do that. A lot of the motion detectors WILL NOT WORK without a ground
3 wire for lamps is very hard to find
