I just finished jewelry boxes for the granddaughters today. I did not cut that close. I had a whole day to spare. Now on to the dovetail swap projects.

What finish did you apply? Also how did you finish the inside? Have you ever done Flocking? PS Nice boxes, simple design

I put felt on the bottom, but flocking the inside is an idea that the might work better than felt.

Great looking lot of boxes. One day to spare – heck you could have made more ;-)

nice looking boxes, I’m sure they’ll love ‘em.

As for the Flocking/Felt debate… I have done both and now prefer to use the Felt with 1 sticky side. its so much easier to use, there is minimal cleanup, and you get a more consistent covering than with flocking.

Merry Christmas and a safe Happy New Year!
