I posted one of these bamboo boxes made from department store cutting boards sometime back. It is kind of fun to work with. For this second of four boxes I combined the bamboo with wenge for contrast. The third box coming up…................ ;-j

That is really cool. The color contrast is perfect.
What is on the bottom?

I like it,

Hi Steve,....... That is a coarse felt-like liner material. I usually like suede but liked the look of this stuff with the fibrous nature of the bamboo…......;-j Joe

Wow, that box is sweet. The handle is awesome, heck the whole box is. Again, clean and tight. Well done.

Love the contrast, and the texture difference between the bamboo and the wenge. I like the way you carried the wenge into the interior handle.
