A coworkers wife asked me to make a briefcase to hold game card boxes for her husband for Xmas. She had the boxes sent to the house so could take measurements and this is what I came up with. Box is solid mahogany with plywood bottom and dividers. The joinery started out proud of surface but if I stood it up it wouldn’t balance well so I cut them all flush. Pinned with 1/4” dowel for looks and strength. It’s my first box and it turned out well. As with any project, many lessons learned.
