Ho! Ho! Ho!

Just finished these and am in the process of handing them out to the recipients. I have my cheap harbor freight scroll saw and and wanted to use it. (Plus I only get to woodwork when my 9 month old is asleep, so I have to work with something quiet). I found patterns for 3D ornaments in a woodworking magazine and had at it. I am not a good scroller so I took my time. It is kind of therapeutic scrolling while listening to some nice classical music or something. I used scraps that I had laying around of cherry and maple. Sanding was tough, but worked out, and the finish was the most simple in the world: open can of polyurethane, dunk, dry. People seem to like them so far. I made a total of 16 of a few different patterns.

Thanks for looking,

The Swede
