I turned these lamps in either ‘74 or ‘75. These lamps are made of Walnut that was salvaged from fireplace wood. I took the logs home, sawed them, glued up the blanks and let the design flow from me to the tools. I don’t remember what they are finished with but there is no stain on them. I hope to get back into turning in the next few months. It’s been a long time since I’ve used a lathe and I’d love to get back to it.

Very nice: looks like they aged quite well and should last for several years to come.
