Walther,

Nice finish as always. Old is New. How large is the piece? Did you check out Pritam and Ames?

Beautiful cross, the 3 nails really set it off. I am starting to play around a bit with old weathered wood. It’s nice to be able to use old wood, and make something new again.

Thanks to all for comments!

To DocSavage45: no, didn’t look this. is it gallery where possibly to post art furniture?

To fisherdough09: thanks, but I don’t us old wood in my work. I tak new pieces of wood and create rustic aged looking from it. all details are new, so all stuff will work very long time.

Walther,

http://pritameames.com

Pritam & Aeames is a gallery. The first page bottom has an Archives button. They are also posting current work. Studio furniture is not always functional. It is always from the mind/heart of the artist and how they create a new concept.

Your work is different? It appears to be both art and craft( woodworking). Thought the information and the works they show might be of interest to you.

Merry Christmas and a better new year!
