Here is an assortment of three canes made of Black Walnut, Figured Cherry, Claro Black Walnut and Macawood. The handles are designed for a comfortable fit and the shaft is a thicker and sturdier one than found on most store bought canes. These are made to last a life time or two and to give the user a sense of style as I believe good art should have function.

Beautiful Canes!

Their design and color will certainly make a statement of style by anyone who uses them.

More gorgeous canes.

Must all good art serve a function?

Thanks for sharing.

No, art can just be art, but I believe GOOD art also has a function. I am too practical to just make “pretty” things that collect dust. Don’t get me wrong, as I LOVE 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional art of all kinds and my walls and shelves are covered with artifacts that I have collected. No boring naked white walls for me! If you visit http://www.gallerymh.com, you will see some African Masks on a wall. That is my living room wall. As usual wonderful canes. The more I see your canes the more I crave for making one. I have made two and they are in the final stages. I will post them soon. But don’t compare.
